@S.S.T™®, i don't use bmp format at all. Not all graphic editors read alpha channel. Textures have a big file size. And... for what? PNG is lossless format.

In my GTA mods I prefer and in most cases uses DDS format (DXT1 and DXT5), and PNG if DDS can't be used. For any other reasons I use PNG.

I can extract textures in all formats that supported by AssetStudioGUI, but... for what?

Also for models: I can also extract models via "Animator" in FBX format but I've try to import this FBX in 3ds Max and then detach some part. Smoothing groups are lost, all the normals are re-calculated. It's bad.

 

OBJ + PNG one love.

For anyone who search the models from 2.5.0 update and don't want when the files be approved on the site, you can download them from my cloud drive dir.

In this dir I will upload the models when it will be ready.

 

Mesh format

  • FBX (All tools with FBX SDK 2012 or newer)
  • MAX (3ds Max 2012 or newer (saved from 3ds Max 2015))
  • OBJ
  • Z3D (ZModeler 2.x, recommended version 2.2.6 (build 992) or newer (you can use 3.x versions if you want))
NOTE 1: "Common" folder (which contains colliders, calipers, and driver model) will be available only in OBJ format!

NOTE 2: If you can't extract the archive - update your WinRAR at least to 5.71 version or use 7-zip at least 19.00 x64 version.

 

Textures format

  • BMP
  • PNG
Additional
  • "MonoBehaviour" folder contains text files with names of each wheel rim
If you want to request a model for upload - please write in this topic, if I have a time for it - I will do it.

Also I will update my Common Textures pack (coming soon). Need to add some textures from 2.4.x/2.5.x versions such as OEM Liveries, and also made a BMP version (extract in BMP and sort).

That's because the HPE 1200 uses parts from Demon '18 which are not part of the original asset. You could either use modified version which assembles the assets or use parts (kits) from Demon '18.

@.CSB, add original version to the modified. Not all users want to use your modified version.

For example: I convert cars to GTA:SA and the game doesn't support your multi-channel uv-mapping + I convert cars from CSR2 into ZModeler2, not 3ds Max.

 

Give a choice: original or modified version. Your Dodge HPE1200 have only modified version of the model.

It does.

Exported models by Asset Studio are in FBX format, so modified version is.

There is always a choice, either you ignore things you don't like or you keep complaining.

 

 

Your Dodge HPE1200 have only modified version of the model.

Dodge HPE 1200 is assembled from two models, the regular Dodge Demon 2018 and Dodge Demon HPE 1200 2018. In order to fully assemble a HPE 1200 you need base model assets from regular Demon and HPE model assets from HPE1200 Demon. If you need original version you can only have Demon 2018 as the 'original' HPE 1200 does not exists. There is a process of kits manipulation which needs to be done in order to have full HPE model and that's what modified version does. Keep or DIY.
