REQUEST Various Configurators Models Requests

Recommended Posts

Thanks for your explanations and work on ripping these models, it is appreciated 😀

As much as I would like to help contribute my current coding knowledge is just a small bit of python so I don't think I'd last very long attempting to do this sort of stuff myself.

I'll post the last few model requests I have, although I'm not in any rush so take your time as you need.

Chevrolet Malibu Facelift - https://gmme-experience.auto.gmme.gforcestestlink.co.uk/experience/malibu-2lt/

Cadillac XT6 Sport version (the one posted earlier was the other spec) - https://cadillac.mannaiautos.com/experience-iframe/xt6-sport-2020/

Cadillac CT6 Premium - https://cadillac.mannaiautos.com/new-vehicles/ct5-2020/

Thanks again

Supercelll I checked the Audi configurator. Its uses a image based streaming service for the 3D.

Maverick when you download the car models file using the GLTF downloader copy and paste or drag and drop all those files into the three.js editor and then you can export the model in the Obj format. 🙂

Your welcome, its all pretty straightforward and simple. Keep in mind though that iknowauto models have a very high poly count and not much in terms of interiors. The typical Obj of one of these cars is around 200 or more megabytes and 1.5 million ish triangles. They also have limited textures so you will need to come up with your own image textures and shaders for the majority of the model. Just kinda know that going in and have fun with them. 🙂
