Can i use models in a game?

Hey, i am thinking of starting a new project, which will be coop car racing game. If i use these models is there any way i can get copyrighted or get in trouble?

Assuming you intend to actually release it to the world, no I wouldn't use any of the models uploaded here.

They're almost all from games, so yes they are copyrighted (and then there is also the licensing for the car brands etc).

When your game is unknown you can probably get away with it, but i wouldn't risk it.

@Styro8 If you want to publish your game in world-wide stores such as Steam - No, you can't use these models 'cause their authors can report you.

If you want to make the game for myself and your friends, or make a unofficial online server for exisiting game (such as servers in gta sa or gta5) - yes, you can these models.

That's not how it works. These 3D models are copyrighted, it's not just a car branding issue.
