  3. @xxkilerericxxgamer If you have such expectations, then I have really bad news for you. I've stated earlier in what circumstances the models are released to public CSR2 categories. Since it appears that noone gives a damn, I can't think of a single reason why I should not as well. But there is no need to worry, because the most probably, these cars from the latest update are the last ones receiving a modified version.

  7. The original or "non-modified" version is available in the initial release as well and I see no reason in uploading it explicitly. I believe that there was a game cache posted in the most recent posts, so the model could be pulled out of there in as raw form, as it possibly can be.
  8. @JacksonLP700-4 Well I still have a ton of work to do with models from the most recent update (even two Elite Tuner cars waiting), so chances of me redoing/updating cars that are already here, are very close to zero in nearest future.

  10. News I've explored data of new update and found out that, unfortunately, not all cars mentioned earlier are present. These cars are probably upcoming in future releases. Also, I've updated feature list of modified version releases with some small, unnoticeable details. Few models released earlier and all upcoming ones will no longer have following issues. Fixed incorrect face normal directions caused by mirroring asymmetric rims of right-side wheels (example) Fixed problem where tire thread was facing incorrect direction on right-side tires (example) Opacity maps from _Material textures resulting pure white texture are no longer produced and mapped

See my post at page 35 (very bottom), especially last bullet point. @JacksonLP700-4 Well, this is common problem with OBJ format for most of the older releases. The problem has nothing to do with export method of the OBJ, but is caused by the the normals present being calculated for non-normalized local transforms of the geometry. Local transforms are lost during export to OBJ where the normals and their transform remain untochted resulting the problem shown. Since my "model preparation script" (used to resolve the problem) does not work with such outdated modified version, like the files you mentioned, but only with the most recent ones, I am not able to fully fix the problem without requiring to re-do the cars. But to not let you empty handed, I've managed to perform a patch on those files and explicitly reexported them. Check it out and let me know if it work correctly in the program you use.   13. Sure why not. Here. I'd like to note that even "orginal" version contains some post-processings that normaly are not included after raw export with AssetStudio. For example on this particular file the livery texture (OEM_Nissan_350ZF3_1) is not part of the car model AssetBundle, but pulled out of shared liveries library. This is impossible to acheive automatically using AssetStudio because it requres reading multiple metadata files. Sometimes the original version even contains wheel models from merged kits (_Reward, _RewardRecycled) but this is not case on this file.
  14. Let me explain. Open .MAX or import .FBX file from modified version. Add an Unwrap UVW modifier on InteriorEmissive object. Under Channel rollout change Map Channel to 2. Choose Abandon when prompted. Change Map Channel back to 1. Choose Move when prompted. Done. And please keep in mind:
  15. Thanks for reference. But the models are not part of the APK but part of game cache (OBB). The game cache files are not provided by this site. Googling "CSR2 <version> OBB download" should do the trick in finding the cache. Aston Martin cars will not be uploaded, but you can request Original versions of them models via PM. Modified version are available exclusively for CSBMods donators.

  21. That's the reason. OBJ generally does not support multiple UV mapping channels for one object so they are lost during export. Moving the UV2 channel to UV1 may be a solution but genualy not recommended as other maps are still using the UV1 channel mapping which is overriden by moving the channel. With your approach you will end up losing opacity, reflection, glossiness, ao, nrml ... and underlying diffuse layer (for example material surface may be white (UV1) using _diff map, but material produces red emission light using _emissive map (UV2) and is masked by _opac map (UV1)). Well all those problems are visible on the picture you posted (climate control buttons for example).
  22. Hello, @kimpet Yes as mentioned you have to UV2 (or UV1 if indexing from 0). This same applies for Light_emissve. I do not work with ZModeler so unfortunately I'm not able to help any further.
