    3.1v:
    Enhancement: F1-2019 cars and tracks can be imported. There is still some work required on the tracks, but the importing of cars seems stable. Make sure you choose F1-2019 from the types list.

    3.1u:
    Fix: When Importing a plugin format, nested objects would incorrectly inherit parent attributes. This could cause attributes such as shadow casting and LOD to be wrong, this was particularly apparent in Assetto Corsa models.
    Fix: GMT models from Zmodeler would fail to import, this was an unintended consequence of a fix for GMT that had been created by recent 64-bit Max plugins.
    Fix: When importing from .VEH or SCN files comments on the same line as a SearchPath would cause the path name to be corrupted.
    Fix: FBX Import could assigned incorrect object names if the user had selected the option to set Object Names from Node Names.
    Fix: The export plugins did not save the Lodin/Lodout values.
    Fix: Browsing for an object to import when an extension could be both a native and a plugin would always import the native.

    3.1t:
    Enhancement: Exporting rF2 model data now includes data for puddle reflection for the Read Road & Kerb shaders. The data is placed in the vertex fields normally used for bone data. Note that these shaders are for DX11 so 3DSimED (DX9) cannot render the puddle data.
    Fix: LOD filters for Forza model import.
    Fix: With HDR on double-clicking to centre the view would fail.
    Fix: Reflections rendered incorrectly with HDR rendering.

    If you have any troubles with resetting the trial and don't want to buy a license - try to use these methods: method #1 and method #2.
    But I strongly recommend to buy this tool.

    NEW: Added Forza Horizon 4 car import.
    Enhancement: F1-2018 Import has improved decal shader and all textures are now extracted for a model.
    Enhancement: Drag-and-Drop of file types supported by Import Plugins. It should also be possible to use Open With… from the File Explorer context menu but this can have a problem resulting from file permissions.
    Fix: With shaders turned off the sky dome would be displayed as a sphere at the centre of the model.
    Fix: Importing an animated rF2 .GMT could crash.
    Fix: Rubber-banding of Poly-lines restored.

    CHANGELOG
    New: Tracks from Forza Apex and Forza 7 can now be imported.
    Enhanced: Import of Forza 7/Apex/Horizon cars has a new option to convert Swatchbin to DDS, this option will also ensure all texture maps referenced by all the materials will be available as DDS.
    Enhanced: When writing .SCN files for rF2, the REFLECTEDENV and REFMAP0 sections are written and populated with the names of objects tagged as reflected.
    Enhanced: When closing a model, the option to never be prompted has been added. The option can also be set at File->Options->User Options.
    Enhanced: Wavefront .OBJ. The normal and texture coordinates are exported with the same number of decimal places as the XYZ coordinates.
    Enhanced: Collada Export of a single object will try to use the title of the filename for the geometry name.
    Fix: Tools->Rename Objects would change the case of the object names to lower case.
    Fix: Editing an object name within the Object Instance Edit pane.
    Fix: Opening a .3SE would change object names to lower case.
    Fix: Exported geometry using the stamp billboard shaders would be incorrectly rotated in rF2.

    CHANGELOG
    Enhanced: Added support for the new shaders of rF2 v1109. Some of these are DX11 only shaders, they can be used in models and exported to rF2 but are rendered in 3DSimED with a simple diffuse map.
    Enhanced: Fully defined Searchpaths in rF/rF2 .SCN files now supported.
    Enhanced: More Swatchbin (Forza textures) formats supported.
    Enhanced: Two ‘Decal’ shaders added: one with cube map & specular colour; the other supporting bump, specular & cube maps.
    Fix: Importing models. If Object names contain ‘:’ characters they are replaced with ‘_’ (this was a problem with Race Sim Studio models).
    Fix: Forza Apex/Horizon 3/7 improved handling of texture coordinate channels.
    Fix: In some circumstances an object could be clipped out when visible.

    NOTICE: Path to models from Forza Motorsport 7: \media\pcfamily\cars\name_of_model
     
    Support has been added to import Forza Motorsport 7 cars. Also, for FH3, FM7 and Forza Apex Import the user can now choose the LOD to import.
    Note that 3DSimED3 cannot automatically detect the difference between FM7, Apex & FH3 Carbin so please make sure the correct format is chosen from the drop-down box on the Import dialog.
     
    This version also includes official DLL files for working with Google SketchUp models!
     
    HERE'S A TUTORIAL FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T OPEN THE FULL MODEL WITH 3DSIMED:
    Extract the model: for FM Apex and FM7 use Forza Studio or QuickBMS with zip.bms script and with FH3 only use WinRAR for unpack the model files.
    For who doesn't have the game installed (just like me), create a fake directory for models, Example: "E:\hexing\FM7\media\pcfamily\cars" , inside "cars" folder put all the extracted file models. For example, path for Dodge Challenger SRT Demon: "E:\hexing\FM7\media\pcfamily\cars\dod_demonfast8_17\"
    Open 3DsimED and select FM6 Apex, FM7 or FH3 .carbin and the whole model will be loaded

    New: Forza 7 Support. Earlier versions of 3DSimED could import Forza 7 models with the Forza Apex Import Plugin but version 3.1l has many improvements to help import Forza 7 car models. The plugin understands the new pcfamily and base sub-folders of media, has improved diffuse texture handling, includes an option to import the blur wheel materials and will read more swatchbin texture types.
    New: Wavefront .OBJ export plugin.
    New: F1-2017 _model Import Plugin . This allows individual models to be imported but requires game ERP archives to be decompressed.
    New: Tools ->Expand-> Single ERP Archive/Batch ERP Archive. Decompress individual or folder tree of ERP archives.
    Enhanced: Added rF2 shader “car body paint with damage”.
    Fix: Forza 7/Apex/Horizon 3 Import has better handling for missing materialbins and should not crash if files are missing.
    Fix: Models with deeply nested objects could crash 3DSimED.
    Fix: Wavefront .OBJ import could not import quoted texture map names.
    Fix: TDU Import would corrupt some meshes.

    New: 3DSimED Materials can reference texture maps not used by the Material’s Shader this allows extra texture maps to be imported and exported.
