    Ah ok, btw  A9 does not even starts in NOX :( so forget about NOX+NJ in this case.

    After quick look an iOS version i understand that *.pack files are zip archives, but not generic. Some files inside probably have a encryption, maybe it have a obfuscated zip dictionary. 7-zip, WinRAR can't unpack it, don't try it.
    QuickBMS with zip.bms script also can't unpack this, in the error message I see a few words about AES (one of encryption algorithms) so I think about encryption. I'll look an Android version and post results here.

    About models:

    Each model has a *.json.jmodel double-extension, and maybe it can be converted back to json, obj or fbx (ascii) file. This model saving techique (plain text file or a web script like json) be most popular in game development at this moment.

    About textures I can't speak something, probably it can be a dds, tga or pvr file.

    UPD1: Android version's *.obb file (game cache) packed same as *.pack files in iOS versions.

     

    UPD2: Tools for Asphalt 8 aren't working with Asphalt 9 archives. Start unpacking with HaoZip, waiting for result...

    UPD4: iOS archives (*.pack files) in partially password-protected.

    Some files can be extracted successfully, some archives can be fully unpacked, but I don't think that iOS version is different than Android.

     

    UPD5: A parsers for model, texture, fonts and shaders are located in libAsphalt9.so in APK. I found the "JModelParser" string, this is a function name.

    Java code only contains a *.obb / *.pack decoders. If archive is password-protected, try using key "A9HM", it might be correct. So archive is repaired "on air" by search and replace technique.

     

    Me need a researchers and programmers from XentaX or ZenHAX forums.


    UPD6: If anybody wants to repair *.obb or *.pack file manually (without HaoZip), you can try to search and replace by these patterns. I don't tested this, so I don't know about will archive works after changes or not. Use hex editor to replace.

    I talked to the creator of A8 Tool a month ago about A9.He told me about HaoZip and also told that he has figured out the textures and will look at the models. But it's been a while since I got a response after that.

    Yup I'm waiting for him and there are threads for A9 on Xentax so we can't do anything unless any developer helps us out.

    Hello everyone,

    The Asphat 9 Tool is out by the creator of A8Tool. We can now rip from A9 but there is a problem.

    All the meshes contains many submeshes of same name.Deleting them will take also lots of time and will be too tiring...was trying to rip Terzo Millenio though.Have got the mesh but will have to reposition and also have to rotate it to get the perfect mesh.

    Gameloft really increased quality of models

    Yeah the models look better than previous Asphalt versions.

     

    Also I tried cleaning up the model a bit and here is what i got now...but still can't figure out the mess...dunno what are those useless parts for...that too attached to the perfect mesh.

    But they are joined to the main model...Would have been fair if they were separate models but...also lemme send you the model to see what it's missing and what parts are exactly that we've got.

    Приветствую всех.

    Подскажите пожалуйста, скачал A9Tool, вынул файлы .jmodel и .jtex. из .obb (Android) через WinRAR. Скинул файлы в папку с A9Tool. Открыл программу, перетащил файлы на окошко, а оно просто закрывается. И по одному файлу тащил и сразу все ... неа. Закрывается и всё. Никаких ошибок не выскакивает. Что я делаю не так?

    * Windows 7 Ultimate x64
